April 23, 2012: Wow! What an exciting night! Foks from the Tea Party and Occupy in Southern Oregon are interacting to find common ground issues to work on together. It’s powerfully wonderful what is happening. Everyone was so happy and positive tonight as we realized we are talking about the same issues, just coming at them from a different perspective and taking the best from each other. The key – integrity and respect and it’s working! We had a good mix of Republicans, Independents, and Democrats there – what an excellent audience who participated in the video taped panel discussion hosted by Jeff Golden of Immense Possibilites on SOPTV www.immensepossibilities.org
Included in the panel were Evan Lasley and Linda Sturgeon of Occupy Ashland, and Joe Snook and Ron Lee of Wake Up America. Joe and Ron both work for the U.S. Observer, http://www.usobserver.com which I’m sure they’ll have a write up on the Townhall soon.
